The primary objective of the voting awareness program was to educate and engage students and the wider community about the importance of voting in a democratic society. The program aimed to raise awareness about the electoral process, encourage voter registration and emphasize the significance of active participation in elections as a fundamental civic duty. Through targeted outreach efforts and informative sessions, the program successfully facilitated an increase in voter registration among students and community members who were previously unregistered or less likely to participate in elections. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the electoral process, including voter eligibility, registration procedures, polling locations and absentee voting options. This increased knowledge empowered individuals to navigate the electoral system with confidence.
